Biography
ERIKA ISHII (all pronouns) is a performer in many mediums and is a prominent name in games, animation, and comedy.
With over 100 voiceover credits to their name, they have become a notorious figure in videogames with high-profile leading roles.Credits include the American femme voice for player character Rook in Dragon Age:The Veilguard, Valkyrie in Apex Legends, and the titular lead in Ghost of Yōtei. Their animation experience ranges from Disney (Zombies: the Reanimated Series) to DC and Marvel (Young Justice, Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur) to anime (Pokemon Horizons, Sailor Moon Cosmos). In 2025, Erika’s performance in Ghost of Yotei earned them recognition as the BAFTA US Breakthrough’s very first selection of an actor from a videogame.
On-camera, Erika is best known for their chaos as a regular cast member on comedy platform Dropout (formerly CollegeHumor) in Dimension 20, Game Changer, Make Some Noise, and more.
They have appeared with Critical Role, hosted Marvel red carpets, and performed as a special guest in the Off-Broadway production Dungeons & Dragons:Twenty Sided Tavern. Erika is the proud co-creator of record-breaking narrative play and storytelling collective Worlds Beyond Number along with Aabria Iyengar, Brennan Lee Mulligan, and Lou Wilson.
Erika is an American of mixed Japanese, Chinese, and Indian ancestry and openly identifies as queer and genderfluid.
They are an outspoken activist for social justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and mental health for underserved communities, having raised over $100,000 for non-profits including The Trevor Project, ACLU, National Association on Mental Illnesses, Trans Lifeline, Black Girls Code, and Color of Change.
